It lets you make calls to any other Skype user in the world, without using or your minutes or credit on your normal mobile phone plan. Even better than that, though, is the fact that if you already use Skype, you can log in using your existing details, and just use your existing contacts with, and I say this emphatically, ABSOLUTELY NO FUSS WHATSOEVER!

I agree that its nice to have a Skype right away in your mobile phone BUT it will only take a couple of minutes to download and install Skype in your mobile phone or if you already have Fring then its already built in there.
